Rough Set Models Based on Random Sets(I)

Abstract: To deal with the inexact,uncertain data and knowledge in applications related to artificial intelligence, a new field-rough sets, the basic concepts of rough set and its advances are introduced. A research framework based on random sets is presented. The pair of lower and upper approximation operators can be interpreted by random set. The connections among random sets, rough sets,and belief functions are discussed.
