
Turbulent Flow of Power Law Fluid under the Influence of Flow Exponent

Abstract: Turbulent model of power law fluid is presented according to
Power Law fluid constitution equation and the influence of flow exponent. Using semi-implicit
method for pressure-linked equations,the numerical computations are worked out for power
law fluid. The result is satisfied with the experiment. Analysis of the result indicates
that the variation tendency of power law fluid turbulent flow is varied according to the
variation of flow exponent. It is concluded that the material parameter ¡ªflow exponent
has an important influence upon turbulent flow.
