Abstract: A CDIPSAR algorithm on compressible and dense gas-solid two-phase turbulent flow is developed. A low-Reynolds number model is first presented and a numerical computation for dense gas-solid two-phase up flow in a pipe is performed. The influence of density and volumetric fraction of particles is considered. It is showed that the forces among the particles and between the particle and wall are dominant with the increase of volum etric fraction, while velocity difference between gas and particle is decreased;
and two
-phase turbulent flow appears intensively anisotropic property.
