Abstract: Nanocrystalline Nd2Fe14B/aFe two-phase magnets with two different compositions are prepared by crystallizing the amorphous melt-spun ribbons using melt spinning and annealing. The effects of adding Dy+Ga and annealing conditions on the magnetic properties of alloys have been investigated. The results show that the crystallization process of ternary Nd8.5Fe86B5.5 alloy consisted of three steps, but Nd7.5Dy1Fe85B4.5Ga2 alloy with adding Dy+Ga only consisted of two steps. Comparing with the ternary alloy, adding Dy+Ga can change the forming temperature ofa Fe and Nd2Fe14B phases, reduce the size of grains of the two phases and obviously increase the magnetic properties of alloys.
