Measurement System of AC Motor Fed by Inverter

Abstract: The voltage and current signals for the motor-inverter system are periodic wide band non-sinusoidal in character.Hence, the conventional AC measurement device cannot function properly.A new synchronous sampling method based on digital filtering is developed. It is based on PC,data acquisition board and virtual instrument software.The loss summation method is used for calculating output power of AC motor.The desired accuracy is achieved.
