
Multiresolution Watermarking Scheme Based on Chaotic Sequences

Abstract: A multiresolution watermarking scheme is developed that
makes use of chaotic sequences and wavelet transform. The procedure involves decomposition
of digital image by using wavelet transform. Chaotic sequence is added to all the
high-pass bands in the wavelet domain. Watermarked image is obtained by using reverse
wavelet transform. When watermarked image is distorted from common image processing, it
can still be identified. The method can be applied to video sequences using three
dimensional wavelet transform.
