
Adsorption Process of Puerarin with Macropore Resin

Abstract: Adsorption equilibrium and kinetics for Puerarin are studied
for macropore resin AB-8 used as an adsorbent. The equlibrium temperature could be
described with both of the Frundich and Langmuir isotherms equations. The adsorption
kinetics curves were simulated and served as base reference for resin adsorption. These
equations could be used as the reference and basis of the study on resin adsorption.
The breakthrough curves were determined and simulated by a linear equation. The results
are important to the study of a dsorption and the performance of adsorbent.
