Estimation of Single Event-Related Potentials Using Median Filtering

Abstract: Eventre lated potentials (ERP) are pertinent to medical research and clinical diagnosis. Estimation of single eventrelated potentials is the objective of ERP processing. It is difficult, because of strong background noise. The median filtering method is proposed; it works well for non-stationary and non Gaussian background noise. Experiments made with real data show that the performance of single ERP estimation is excellent.
