Gas Sensor Array System for Analyzing Fault in Transformer

Abstract: Gas sensor array technique and RBF(radial basis function) neural network are applied to analyze four mixed gases dissolved in transformer oil. The results show that the gas sensor array system can overcome disadvantages of BP neural network such as determining the local minimum. Its learning speed is 2 to 3 orders of magnitude faster than BP neural network. Confirmation is obtained by experiments.
