Configuration Design Method Based on Configuration Constraints Processing

Abstract：An integrated configuration design method is presented to solve the complexity in configuration design，where the task is accomplished by the integration of the following three related processes：(1) adopting the case matching technology to search satisfied design solutions from the existing cases；(2) expanding the domain knowledge to support the solving of modules configuration problem and the key parameters assignment depending on the knowledge intensively；(3)selecting the evolutionary algorithm to solve the parametric optimization problem， in which the scheme of constraints checking and redesign rules is presented to process the complex configuration constraints．And the validity of the method is verified via a case study of a worm reducer．
