Realization of Virtual Diagnosis Center for Machine Fault with Open Structure

Aimed at the deficiency on mechanism of management and consultation, the idea of internet-based virtual diagnosis center (VDC) for machine fault with open structure is proposed, and the construct scheme and cooperative mechanism among experts of VDC are designed. According to the diagnosed object, the machine information, condition data, fault cases and activeX-based analysis tools are integrated into multimedia consultation environment in VDC to enhance the efficiency of expert consultation environment. Simultaneously, to support the research of experts, machine data in VDC are open for the experts by web service interface, and the technique of push subscription in SQL-server is utilized to collect machine condition data in enterprise machine condition database, which ensures the security of the database. The VDC has been applied to remote diagnosis of a blower in Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation and a rotor experiment kit in Xi'an Jiaotong University, and the reasonableness of the system construction and the running stability are verified.
