Abstract:The elastic constants of Ag and Au are calculated by molecular dynamic simulation. The calculated result agrees with the experimental one very well,then the applicability of these elastic constants to nanorod and nanofilm is analyzed.The conclusion indicates that the calculated elastic constants can not be applied directly to nanorod of tiny size, and these are almost accurate for nanofilm stress-stiain analysis.
