Abstract:In stereolithography, support structural design will greatly affect the building accuracy of the prototypes.A FEM model of the mechanics behavior between adjacent prototypes layers is presented. Then using FEM calculation simulation as well as experimental approaches to study the relationship between part's layer structure and shrinkage deformation tendency. Finally, the support design rules for horizontal undersurface's support structure and the support intervals are proposed. The results show that along the outline of the horizontal undersurface the wall-type support should be added, and in the interior area, the cross-type support should be designed. If using XJ-01 resin, the spacing of the support is 10 mm,which can meet the building accuracy requirements of the parts.
