| Formalized Solution of Conceptual Design
Based on Polychromatic Sets Tang Yonggang,Li Zongbin,Li Shancang (School of Mechanical Engineering,Xi'an Jiaotong University,Xi'an 710049,China) Abstract:The unified color sets,individual color sets and hierarchy structural tree are applied to establish a conceptual design product information model.Three kinds of restrictions of the information model are analyzed and formalized by employing the relation matrix of unified colors and individual colors.A formalized method of reasoning process for product conceptual design is proposed,and the process from product function demands to method atom is developed. The reasoning process result is prepared for the next process for evaluation and optimization.An example of isolation system is provided for the further explanation of the above theory.It is verified that the method enables to construct the information model rapidly for a product conceptual design,and offers a totally new idea to knowledge creativity.
