| Estimation of Dimethyl Ether Thermal
Properties with Molecule Theory Wang Xibin,Jiang Deming,Zhou Longbao,Pan Keyu (School of Energy and Power Engineering,Xi'an Jiaotong University,Xi'an 710049,China) Abstract:Molecule theory was applied to estimate the correlations of dimethyl ether(DME) thermal properties versus temperature, and those properties include the latent heat value, the surface tension, the thermal conductivity and the diffusion coefficient. The accuracy was also estimated. The estimation shows a good precision in thermal properties and the deviation is within 5%~10%. The estimation solved the problem of lacking of DME thermal properties at the present time, and could meet the demand for numerical simulation of DME spray and combustion process. Molecule theory also supplys a new approach for property estimation of the unknown fuels. Keywords:dimethyl ether;thermal properties;molecule theory |
