| Study on the Heat Transfer Enhancement of
Two¡MPhase Flow Elevation Tube in LiBr Chiller with Hot Water Source Zhang Lianying,Wu Yuyuan,Guo Jingang,Chen Dongsheng (State Key Laboratory of Multiphase Flow in Power Engineering,Xi'an Jiaotong University,Xi'an 710049,China) Abstract:Experiment on boiling heat transfer and thermosiphon elevation of LiBr solution inside three lunate channels with different diameters were performed. The experimental results show that the dimension of the lunate channel has a direct influence on the heat transfer and solution elevation. The elevating tube, whose diameter ratio of two pipes is 19:32 has the best elevation effect among them,and its net elevating height of solution is 2.5 times as high as the solution submergence. The elevating height is the highest in China,and at the same time, the temperature of the heat source driving the generator is 10¡æ lower than others. The distilled water yield and vapor fraction at outlet of the elevating tube increase with the heating water temperature and heatflux. The vapor mass fraction at the outlet of the elevating tube increases with the decrease of the driving liquid head. Keywords:LiBr-chiller;two-phase flow;elevation tube;lunnate channel |
