Abstract:Two-dimensional approximate entropy(A-E2d) was proposed to measure the axis orbit complexity and quantitatively estimate the running conditions of rotating machinery. As a new dimensionless factor, only short time-series are needed to calculate the A-E2d of random signal or certain signal with high anti-interference ability. Successful application of analysis axis orbit complexity was achieved in bearing bushing of a mechanical set. The results show that A-E2d have excellent ability to quantify the time pattern complexity of the axis orbit, thereby providing an effective technology for condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of mechanical equipment.
