| Study on Performance of Dry Feed
Entrained Flow Bed Gasifier Based on Shell Gasification Technology Xu Yue,Wu Yining,Wei Shirang (School of Energy and Power Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an ””710049, China) Abstract:Based on Shell gasification technology, mathematical simulation and performance study of dry feed entrained flow bed gasifier technology are carried out. The effects of oxygen and steam in gasification process on gasifier performance are analyzed and so that the foundation of selecting gasification technology and parameters are provided for the design of integrated gasification combined cycle(IGCC) power system. The results show that the ratio of oxygen to coal is the main factor affecting coal gas composition at exit of gasifier, conversion rate of carbon and other performance. The gasifier temperature is increased with the ratio of oxygen to coal£¬ but decreased with the ratio of steam to coal. For the constant ratio of steam to coal, there is an optimal efficiency when the ratio of oxygen to coal is varied.The results aslo show that the effects of the ratio of oxygen to coal on gasifier performance are stronger than the ratio of steam to coal.
