Abstract:Nanometer scale alumina template with highly ordered and closely packed hexagonal pore structure was prepared by one and two step electrochemical anodizing process in oxalic acid solution respectively. The micrographs of the electrochemical polished aluminum samples under different polishing conditions were observed with atomic force microscope (AFM) and the optimum elcetrochemical polishing conditions were obtained, i.e., the aluminum sample was electropolished in a mixed solution of perchloric acid (18%) and ethanol with 1:4 in volume under constant voltage 55Vat10c for 30s.
