| Preparation and Photoelectric Properties of
Poly(2,5-Dibutyloxy£© 1,4-Phenylene Vinylene Sun Jianping,Wu Hongcai,Li Baoming,Bai Yongli,Wei Wei (School of Electronics and Information Engineering,Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an 710049, China) Abstract:A new style photoelectric functional material poly (2,5 dibutyloxy£©p phenylene vinylene (PDBOPV) is synthesized through bisetherification, chloromethylation and dehydrochlorination reaction. The structure of PDBOPV is characterized by ultraviolet visible absorption spectrum. There exists ¦Ð-¦Ð* electronic transition of benzene ring and unsaturated CC bond in vinylidene of PDBOPV at 310 and 520 nm through ultraviolet visible absorption spectrum. The conductivity of I2,Br2,FeCl3 and H2SO4 doped PDBOPV is 52.6,27.3,38.4 and 6.1 S/cm,respectively. The third order nonlinear optical property of PDBOPV is studied by degenerate four wave mixing method. The resonant value of 7.2¡Á10-10 esu at 532 nm and the off resonant value of 1.6¡Á10-11 esu at 1.064 nm of third order optical nonlinear susceptibilities are measured, respectively.
