| Crossbar Scheduling Algorithm Based on Pre
Matched iSlip Li Shenglei,Zhang Deyun,Liu Gang (School of Electronics and Information Engineering, xi'an jiaotong university,xi'an 710049, China Abstract:Based on the research of various virtual output queuing(VOQ)schedule algorithm, a new VOQ scheduling algorithm-MiSlip is introduced, which extends the famous iSlip algorithm's three steps solution to four steps by adding a pre match step. Considering the relation between two consecutive schedule periods, the last period schedule information matching some condition can be used by MiSlip to predict this period's matching result. Simulations are carried out to study the effectiveness of MiSlip and the results show that MiSlip is simpler and works very well. Comparing with iSlip, the algorithm can increase the iteration efficiency and decrease the scheduling delay while maintaining the throughout and packet loss rate unchanged.
