Allocation of Power Loss Caused by Charging Power to Each Generator

Abstract:In order to calculate rationally the sharing cost of transmission line for each genertor, it is necessary to take the problem of allocation of power loss caused by charging power into correct account. Based on the tracing of current and thought about the characteristic of power system, this paper proposed that the charging power can be treated as a reactive power supply when the loss caused by charging power is calculated; and the sharing proportion of the loss caused by charging power in a line is the same as the using proportion of that transmission line for each generator. The simulated result shows that the method is feasible.
