Abstract：In order to meet the needs of networked manufacturing, a methodology to construct a project-based collaborative working environment is put forward and the correspondent synchronously collaborative web-tool based on the cross-platform Java solution is developed. The functions of this tool include collaborative privilege management, Java JMF-driven collaborative interactions, collaborative browsing of part geometric model, collaborative history record, etc. Furthermore, data or knowledge mining may implemented by using the collaborative history recorded as an information resource.
