
New Watermarking Scheme and Centroid Detecting Method for Text Documents

Abstract: Considering the feature of Chinese text, the marking scheme of
line shifting and the centroid detecting method which are all based on space domain are
improved and simplified, and a new marking scheme and relevant centroid detecting method
are given. The new marking scheme can offer two times marking spaces than the old one
does, because the new scheme gives up the use of control lines. The centroid noise model
is magnified and the detection method is simplified, so the computation load is greatly
reduced. The new scheme only needs to detect the relative distances of each line's
centroid, in this way, it can realize blind detection. Experimental results show that the
accuracy of improved method can achieve over 95%.
