Abstract: The effect of impulse current magnetic fields on the mouse
marrow tumor cells has been studied. It is verified that the impulse current magnetic
field has the ability to penetrate through the cell, and there
fore has strong biological effects. The results show clearly that the strong impulse
magnetic field can restrain the growth of cells, and in the serious circumstances, result
in the death of cells. The mechanism of the impulse current magnetic field effect has been
discussed by using a simple cell model.
