Experimental Research on Three-Phase Optical Current Transducer System

Abstract: An optical current transducer systemapplied to measure the three-phase currents in power system is presented. A mathematic model of three-phase optical current transducer system is established based on Faraday magneto-optic effect. Experiments on three-phase optical current transducer are carried out. The experimental results have a good agreement with the theoretical one. This system offers the important guidance to the systemdesign and the improvement of the performance.
