Abstract:The performance of the steam-water two-phase flow shock wave injector is studied experimentally. The injector system includes steam nozzle, mixturem chamber and the corresponding valves and tube. The characteristics of the injector are investigated by varying throat dimension of the mixture chamber, the initial steam pressure before the nozzle and the inlet water flux. The maxium dimensionless pressure lifting coeficient in the experiment is 2.4. The outlet pressure increases with the inlet steam pressure and the inlet water flux, but decreases with the throat diameter of the mixing chamber.
