
Design of Multiple Input Multiple Output Volterra Filter Equalizer

Abstract: In order to recover the input signal from the output signal
with noise, the problem about design of multiple input multiple output(MIMO)Volterra
filter equalizer is studied, and the concrete design steps are given. The convergence of
Volterra filter equalizer and the error bound using pth-order approximation equalizer
instead of infinite order Volterra equalizer are discussed. The concept of local finite
energy stability for MIMO Volterra filteris introduced, and the algorithm formula of
pth-order inverse are given by multi-dimension z-transform. Then, the design algorithm of
Volterra filter equalizer is studied, and the convergence and the error bound are
discussed. Results of simulation illu strate that the proposed algorithms can be applied
to not only the MIMO system,but also the array signal processing and wireless
communication system.
