New Algorithm of Electric Power System Fast Frequency Measurement Decreasing the Influences Coming from Measurement Errors

Abstract: A new algorithm of electrical power system fast frequency measurements is presentd. The algorithm decreases the influences created by the transfiguration of waveform and A/D sampling errors by using sin(¦ÐfT)in the calculation of frequency. It lowers the effects of sampling errors on frequency measurements. The accuracy and reliability of this algorithm have been proved by simulation experiment.
