Conference Emblem

The conference emblem has the following meanings:

1)  The background is a globe, symbolizing internationalization. The blue color of the circumference is the characteristic color of NSFC.

2)  The six gray teeth implies 3 meanings: a) the Great Wall of China, b) mechanical gear c)the three connected Ms symbolizes Mechanical, Machine and Manufacturing.

3)   “6” means both 6^th and the red sun.

4)   The gear and ICFDM as well as the time and place underneath constitute together a  forum

1 背景为地球，象征国际化，外轮廓蓝色为中国国家自然科学基金委的特征色；

2 中间的六个齿型代表四个意义：中国长城（城墙灰），机械的齿轮（金属灰），三个MMM连在一起表征机械制造（Mechanical, Machine, Manufacturing ）；

3 本届的6表示第六届，用红色表征太阳；

4  ICFDM和下面的时间地点与上面的齿型带形成了一个讲坛。
